Mortalis is a Grimdark Sci-fi miniature skirmish system where you design your Fighters and Teams from the ground up using a dedicated Fighter & Team Builder app - The Fighter Forge.
Most skirmish games give you fixed fighters and factions.
Mortalis works differently.Instead of choosing from preset unit profiles, you create exactly the Fighters you want. Using the Fighter Forge, you design your warriors by adjusting stats, weapons, equipment, feats, and spells. The builder automatically calculates points and generates ready-to-play fighter cards.
Build your fighters, print the cards, and you’re ready to play.
Have you ever looked at an amazing miniature and thought “That model is fantastic… but I don’t have anything to use it for.”?
Well, now you do. Any miniature you own - or want to buy or convert - can become part of a unique Team.
The rules are designed to be easy to grasp, make sense and give a sense of immersion, rather than confusion about which special rule does what, or obscure cover/line of sight rules - and feel fast and exciting. The result is a fast, tactical skirmish game where every team is different, and the builder keeps everything smooth, balanced, and easy to use.

Mortalis was created as a passion project for the miniature hobby. There are no locked factions, no required miniatures, and no books you need to buy.
The entire system — rules, builders, and tools — is completely free to use.Mortalis exists for one reason: to help miniature hobbyists get their models onto the table.
